Verdict

DEEP PLEASURE (1) resumes from a 23-week spell and has been brought north by the high-flying Price/Kent stable. Lightly raced mare who was a black-type placegetter two preps back. McDonald has only ridden for the stable 12 times but has four wins on the board. Good fresh performer who can overcome the big weight. VIENNA VIXEN (2) hasn't won for a while but is going okay. Just missed over 7f here two back then led and tired at Wyong last start. Better off if ridden a bit quieter - expect improvement this time. METALLIC CAT (4) was lining up for just the second time when the dominant all-the-way winner of a Kensington maiden over this trip last Wednesday. Up substantially in grade but the quick back-up suggests she is pleasing the stable - worth following. TOTOKA (6) has been savaging the line over similar distances at the provincials. Not a regular in the winner's stall but certainly one for the exotics. RINGAROSA (5) can improve today with a step up in trip.
