Verdict

Honest mare SUPERFABULISTIC (11) was rewarded for her consistency with a dogged win in a similar race here two weeks ago. Yet to be tested in heavy ground but her dam is by Savabeel which is a good sign. Should roll along on the speed and prove tough to catch again. MOJAVE RIVER (6) settled midfield and couldn't quicken as hoped behind Superfabulistic here a fortnight ago. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and the blinkers go on so a sharper performance is on the cards. HOVLAND (3) took a lot of ground off Superfabulistic when resuming here last time, beaten under a length. Strips fitter and although staying at the mile he will be hard to resist again. THE CREATOR (1) also went around in that BM72 here on 6 May and was strong late. Should be peaking at the third run back. SCALEXTRICS (5) isn't exactly flying at present but his three wins from five runs on heavy tracks brings him under notice.

Third-up today and won third-up in the past. Resuming 8th of 10 at Randwick 3&4yo Bm72 on April 25 over 7f, 4.5 len behind Enamorada with 121lbs at $21. Second-up 5th of 10 at this track Bm72 on May 6 over 1m, 2.5 len behind Superfabulistic with 130lbs at $4.40. Capable of a better showing. Likely improver at the third run back with blinkers going on.
