Verdict

More like a provincial Bm64 than a metro. FAIRWAY TO HEAVEN (6) made it two wins from her last three starts when she got the job done comfortably over this distance at Wyong last start. Will slide across and sit up on the pace again. No reason she cannot add to her growing record. WOOTTON WAY (10) chased the winner all the way down the straight but just failed to grab second when resuming at Kembla recently. Strips fitter and can easily turn that result around although she is untried in wet conditions. NANDINA (8) was in the market but didn't fire first-up here a fortnight ago. Can improve coming back in distance. BRUCE I AM (5) is a nose off being two-for-two. Promising three-year-old who should measure up with Nash in charge. HELLO CAPTAIN (7) is back from a 21-week spell. Both runs in the maiden prep were in Queensland which makes him hard to line up but the early market is bullish.

Last start 2nd of 7 at Kembla Grange Bm64 on May 9 over 6f, 2 len behind Hellova Nature carrying 132lbs at $11. The start before that 6th of 12 at Canberra Open on March 8 over 5f, on a slow track, 3.5 len behind Vella's Best carrying 130lbs at $26. Definite winning chance. One of the major hopes in a race that lacks metro quality.
