A field made up primarily of first starters so it is tough. Going with the Waterhouse/Bott-trained CELTIC SPY (2) who has the race experience. Returned from a 21-week spell last start with a game third over 5f at this track after leading for the judge. Will kick on following that outing and is going to be tough to reel in. Stablemate OUR EMPEROR (11) is a half-brother to multiple stakes-placed Moravia on debut. Recent trial winner who looks forward enough to run a big race. Doomben 10,000 placegetter Payline's half-brother LIKE AN EAGLE (10) debuts. In good hands and looked very smart winning a Rosehill trial nine days ago. Keep very safe. Peter Snowden first starter and pre-post favourite CRESCENT KING (3) has won both trials and is obviously talented. Lindermann's half-brother IOMMI (15) debuts for the Waller camp with McDonald on board. Finished 0.7 lengths behind Crescent King at his latest trial. Must be respected.
