ELNAJEEB (2) strode forward early from his wide draw last start over 6f at Beaudesert then fought on gamely to finish third. This is a nice race and can get the job done. ZOUBUCA SHOTS (7) finished third, beaten 1.3 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 6f at Murwillumbah after she was prominent at the turn. Has the ability to take this out. The well-related OLD WERMATONG (3) (half to G3 winner and G2 placed Col 'N' Lil) turned in a strong performance first-up when in the money at Toowoomba but disappointed last time when tenth, beaten 6 lengths, at Ipswich over 5 ½f. Finds a nice race and can provide some value for exotics. CITY BOUND (17) next in line from the low draw.
