Competitive. HELL TO THE LINE (6) just missed first-up at Toowoomba and then raced a $2.1 favourite there following and was slow into stride and wide after (vet cleared). He's much better than that and expect him to appreciate the step up to 7 ½f. Should be tough to hold out. SHOWBIZ VEGA (13) won a trial at Dalby and then ran a solid effort there on debut. Jumps from the inside gate and should improve again over the longer trip. Has the inside barrier and should get every chance. WANNA KISS (12) improved over 7f at Dalby on the same day and has the blinkers applied for the first time. He also has winning claims. CHAMPAGNE TOWER (8) has the ability but is proving hard to catch. He went better at Ipswich but will have to go it the hard way again.
