PAST MIDNIGHT (2) is a three-year-old gelding by Worthy Cause out of Midnight Matinee on debut for the Jake Capewell stable. Proved too good in a Toowoomba Inner Track trial recently. Sure to acquit himself well. Betting the key. TROOPER SAM (4) was close to breaking through last time in work, closing the prep as favourite and finishing third at Toowoomba before a five-and-a-half month break. Expect he has come on over the break and looks all set for a bold return. LOQUITO (6) started favourite at the last run before a break but could only manage second at Glen Innes. Nicely placed and can kick this campaign off on a bright note. MISHANI SENORITA (7) will be rock-hard fit for this and may earn some minor money.
