PAPER DOLL (3) gets the nod after a sound fourth at Coonabarabran when sent out favourite, beaten just over a length despite racing wide from the 4 ½f. Her 7f record reads well for this, with three placings from four starts at around the trip, and barrier one gives her every opportunity to convert her consistency. ZOYSIA (6) was plain at Coonabarabran but was only beaten three lengths and his Coonamble third, beaten just under a length, keeps him right in the contest if he handles the 7f this time. HOLLYWOOD HUNK (4) is the likely improver, having finished third to Little Duke last start and already holding a recent line through Paper Doll and Zoysia, though the 7f is new territory. GREY BELIEF (10) brings the strongest class angle after running second in a Class 1 at Dubbo and now dropping back to Mdn grade, with the quick back-up another positive if the shorter trip does not blunt her finish. TRAPEAZY (14) closed well first up and stays in the calculations.
