Verdict

It's a cracking contest to close us out. THE SHAPER (4) has been freshened with 39 days and drops back to a winning trip after turning in a poor one at Seymour. His form prior was super and his two recent jumpouts have been sharp. Loy's booking signals stable confidence. EPAULLO CREED (5) is a speedy gelding from the Olive camp. Was back somewhere near his best second-up and is sure to take some catching from the low draw. DUPLI KATE (6) was far from her best first-up at Canberra when getting too far back. Willing to forgive on best efforts but the wide draw could see her get a long way back again. Watch for her looping them if the pace is genuine. ADOLPHUS (13) returns and is a two-time winner fresh. Mixed his form last campaign when sent to town but posted strong ratings when on-song. Drawn sticky but has the class to give this a big shake. COUNTY KILKENNY (8) was well below his best last time and is capable of a much better effort here. He'll be hoping they roll along early.
