Tricky race to end the day. PURPLE ROSE (3) will appreciate the firmer surface today after disappointing at her last two outings. Regular rider sticks from the good barrier and assess on the dominant win three back at Muswellbrook. Genuine prospect. ELLOFADUDE (4) progressive gelding who comes back in grade today. Massive effort when he sat on the speed to finish a narrow second over 6f at Gosford in BM64 class. Will go forward from the good draw and no shock to see him go one better. MYALABY (9) has an okay record at this course and distance and should be near her top now third up. Can get cover from the gate and take a hand in the finish. ROSES IMMINENTE (7) good fresh mare resuming. Has won at the trip and can overcome the awkward gate. Fitted with the one trial and can launch late.
