GOOD KARMA (12) tough old mare with her hoof on the till. Not that far away again at her second run back when fourth over 1m at this track. Has further improvement to come and maps to get the gun run. NEVER ISLAND (2) races best with her runs spaced and worth noting all three wins have been over the mile. Shouldered the 131lbs with a tenacious on-speed second over 6 ½f at Coffs Harbour. Rates well and expected to be right in this. PHOENIX POWER (3) holding his form and will take stopping coming back in class on his home track. Launched late with a tidy fourth over 7 ½f at Port Macquarie. Leading player. AMALFI AMORE (7) bounced off a sound second two starts back at Port Macquarie, with a well deserved victory over 1m at Tuncurry. In peak condition and stays in the calculations.
