GHAZNAVI (5) tough gelding who got up in a tight finish on resumption over 7f at Mudgee. No reason he can't go on with it now and looks set for a good preparation. NIRMATA (3) lightly raced gelding with a stack of upside. Gripped on late with the 130lbs when a tidy third over 5 ½f at Scone. Strips fitter and shapes as the main danger from the low barrier. FOUR DEGREES (2) deep into the prep and the cross-over nose band and tongue-tie go on fourth-up. Winning rider hops back on and sure to be thereabouts. TALKACHINO (9) came back in distance when surged late for a surprise third over 6 ½f at Dubbo. Will drift back again and prove hard to hold out.
