Verdict

ZAMPANO (8) brings the right form to the table and drops in weight in this stronger race. Three weeks between runs when he showed plenty of fight to go under narrowly over 5f at this track in C3 class. Peaking at the right time and gets his chance. COMONGIN (4) talented gelding returning from a lengthy break. Should come to hand quickly and hard to forget his Wellington Boot win over 5 ½f here a year ago. IRON HAT (5) is mixing his form and assess on the good first-up run over 5f. Tempo suits and worth though from the low barrier. SOMERTON SMART (6) returns from a lay-off. Recent trial winner at Tamworth. Opened last campaign with a win at Grafton over 5 ?f. Very good fresh performer who is worth consideration.
