Open race to close out the card. CRACKENTHORPE (3) returned in good order with a close-up second here and will have come on with that run now in the locker. Is yet to miss a drum in six starts around this track and should be right there at the business end. WILY JACK (14) got the maiden out of the way at the latest effort and will have taken some confidence from that victory. Can go back-to-back. Former NSW galloper GONE TO CAPE YORK (7) just ran into one better when having the first run for the new stable and should find this easier than what he faced down south. In the mix. TRYMESOON (9) looked good saluting here on debut and winning rider Maloney sticks. Respect from the champion Waller yard. CHINCHILLA AHEAD (2) rounds out the selections.
