AU - Sunshine Coast - Race 4

BUTTERCUP (11) is the one to beat on consistency, having placed eight times from ten starts and returned this campaign with a third at Eagle Farm before finishing second at this track. She was odds-on there, but had some mid-race contact and laid in, and the 7lbs weight relief from that run helps her case. DUCHESS DIFFICULT (12) appears the immediate threat after being held up yet beaten just under a length at Doomben, and she looks well placed easing from metro company. HARD KNOX (3) resumes with a close trial behind him and has placed four times from five starts, including wet-track placings that read well for these conditions. MARTINDALE KID (6) was well found on debut back in May on the back of some strong trials but didn't fire a shot before being sent straight to the paddock. Has trialled well here on the Inner in readiness and is worth a market watch.
