Tricky race to assess with a few of these at the races for the first time. Of the raced brigade KHOIRGIRL (4) is unlucky to still be a maiden finishing runner-up in both starts to date and strikes a winnable contest here. Butler sticks in the saddle following the past two outings and can go one better against this lot. CRYPTIC BEAUTY (10) resumes here but the form he showed in his first preparation was good enough for a race like this. Only needs some luck from the wide draw to be playing a role in the outcome. JUCASI (1) placed around this circuit when resuming and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Top-three credentials at odds. SHANIDAR (18) tuned up for this with a recent trial win and maps ideally for this from gate three. In the mix while fresh. SWAGGERING (3) best of the rest with the claim from the inside alley.
