The penny dropped for BRUCKHEIMER (1) who strung three wins together on the bounce before the spell and was racing with a lot of confidence. Tuned up for this with two recent trials and gets some weight off with the 4lbs claim. Maps well from gate three and can run a big race while fresh. The well-related HEART AND SPIRIT (6) (full to G1 winner Jonker) has a handy record over this track and trip with two wins and two placings from six attempts. Ready to peak now third-up and should be right there when the whips are cracking. BELLE AFFAIR (9) saves her best form for this course and distance and gets in on the minimum weight. Top-three candidate. STAR RAPPER (3) is a former Victorian galloper having his first run for the new stable and any market confidence must be noted. ADMITTED (2) next best from the low draw.
