HARD KNOX (4) is desperate to break through, with four placings from five starts, and a solid record at this track and trip. His latest trial being a close third at Sunshine Coast Inner Track adds a useful readiness pointer. Can get the job done this time. CELLITO SANDS (3) was competitive in a CL1 at Goulburn before the break. Has had two trials for the new stable and a 7lbs claimer on to get him in well at the weights. Can make a bright start up north. TIVACIOUS (8) is the fresh face with upside, having trialled at on the Inner Track two weeks ago and shown enough in earlier Kyneton trials to warrant respect on debut. MYSTIC MEADOW (13) has been safely held in two runs, but the move away from metro company and the third-up profile give her a sound place angle if she lifts off that Doomben sixth.
