MEGA PIXEL (1) raced up on the speed and tried hard when asked the question but was beaten narrowly on debut last start over this distance at Quirindi. Good to see Bullock goes back aboard. Any natural improvement should see him opening his account. SHAKESPEARE'S GIRL (14) made late inroads when resuming her at this trip two back. Showed speed but fell in a heap when extended to 7f last time. Big chance back in this more suitable race. RAPID READY (13) returns after a four-month spell. Finished third over today's journey at Toowoomba when fresh from a spell last prep. Now in the Craig Clegg stable and a solid first-up run for the new mentor will not surprise. DUB (2) chimed in late and was beaten under a length when resuming over 5 ½f at Armidale recently. Sure to be tough to hold out over the slightly longer trip today. SMASHING NOVA (6) resumes. Only raced twice in the maiden prep and was competitive. Expect a bright return.
