TRUCE (6) was a notable drifter but got the job done in a workmanlike manner on debut over this course and distance a fortnight ago. Trained here and should make plenty of progress with that run under the belt. Big chance to go back-to-back. ATHENA'S TREASURE (5) is back after a ten-month spell. Lightly raced mare who went okay on debut over this distance before winning when stretched to six furlongs. Won a recent trial at this track and looks ready for a positive return. LILY BOBTAIL (7) mustered after a slow start then battled on well for third at her latest appearance over 4 ½f at this circuit. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and her stats here and at 5f are solid. New Stirling Osland acquisition LA NARRADORA (4) returns from a four-month break. Speedy mare who hasn't been seen at the trials since the switch. Betting watch recommended. GREAT COSMIC (2) is back for a second campaign. Big winner on debut over this distance at Tamworth so he must be considered.
