FEAZABEEL (1) has gone to a new level this prep with the two wins from his four starts. Strong through the line with the 132lbs for a respectable second over this track and trip. Will relish the claim and can race closer from the inside barrier. Hard to hold out. MAGIC MERLIN (2) improving gelding who got off the mark over 7 ½f at Muswellbrook last start in good style. Ready for this trip and further now and is hard fit fifth-up. ASTROGAZER (3) two runs back have only been fair and looks to find the right race today. Ran good figures when winning over the mile last prep and can take a hand in the finish. CALEDONIAN (7) is knocking on the door and deserves respect.
