Verdict

Not much went right for ALL KIRKED UP (8) over this trip at Hawkesbury last start but the final result was still disappointing. Has more to offer than that and the application of blinkers for the first time may do the trick. OAKFIELD GALAXY (1) was never in the hunt first-up over 6f at this track, a reflection of his $71.0 SP. Will appreciate the extra furlong and the blinkers back on might help as well. Bullock sticks so could be one at odds for exotics players. SPICY SURPRISE (6) opened his career with a couple of nice efforts then lacked a turn of foot when midfield over this course and distance most recently. Can bounce back with the shades going on. REDFORD RIVER (3) went to 7f for the first time last start at Wellington and found the line well but missed the placings. Should be thereabouts again. TAKETHEMONEYANDRUN (4) was just fair at Tamworth last time but can improve on a seven-day back-up.
