BELVEDERE MISS (5) collected her maiden over today's journey at Mackay two runs ago. Stepped up to 6 ½f in a BM58 here last start and did well to be beaten under two lengths after being in the firing line all the way. This looks an ideal set-up. LUXOR PRINCE (6) has not won since May 2022 but produced a real eye-catcher here last time out, flashing home for third at the end of 7f. Coming back in trip is a small concern, as is the win drought. Each-way prospects. BOLD AS BRASS (1) was too bad to be true over 5 ½f at Gatton last start, that run following a good second over today's trip at Kilcoy ten days earlier. Draws a nice gate and should be given another chance. SPITZBERG (9) backs up six days after making late ground to be beaten just 1.4 lengths over 5 ½f at Mackay. Better placed over this trip. MAKING HISTORY (10) has been hitting the line well in shorter races and will appreciate getting over more ground this time.
