Verdict

MAFIA (1) strips fitter today after doing all the early work with a solid fourth over 6 ¼f at Canterbury in BM78 class. Berry sticks from the good barrier and expected to go close. THE EXTREME CAT (3) started this prep with a good win at Scone, then was taken back from the wide gate before circling the field with a tenacious sixth over 6 ¼f at Canterbury. Hard to beat with J Mac up if they overdo it early. HIGH BLUE SEA (2) frustrating gelding who resumes in a winnable race. Fitted with the two trials and look for him launching late with the good tempo. NINGALOO STAR (6) struggled in all three runs this time in and will appreciate Grima's claim today. Anywhere near her best would be good enough for this. The chances don't end there.
