Verdict

COLUMBUS (5) dominated his rivals fresh and has been okay in his next two without paying his supporters. The rise to 1 ?m looks perfect fourth-up. Bold showing anticipated. MAZIS (2) hit the line nicely fresh without threatening the promising Mr Miller. Is sure to have come on from that and is another that will appreciate the rise in trip. FUNCHAL (1) returns. Didn't fire in her only run last time in but has jumped out well in readiness and if Price & Kent Jnr can get her back to her WA form she can have a good prep. MY CHARM (6) made light work of her rivals at Hawkesbury second-up and while this is obviously tougher, she deserves respect with more to offer. Can't knock the form of PIERRO LAD (3) who shoots for four on the bounce. Yet to be tested at this trip though.

Dual acceptor. Second-up. First-up after 10 months 3rd of 9 in a Bm72 at Warwick Farm on August 19 over 7f, on a slow track, 3.5 len behind Mr Miller carrying 131lbs at $13. Previously second-up made some head-way from midfield, 2nd of 9 in a Cl3-Sw at Eagle Farm on October 18 over 1m, nose behind Cavalry Man carrying 132lbs at $3.80. Was good fresh and should relish the rise in trip.
