SHELSTEIN (13) returned good figures on resumption when an eye catching sixth over 5 ½f at Canterbury. Huge drop in weight with the claim and can stalk the speed and go close. SNACK BAR (2) bumped into a couple of handy types at his two runs back and set to peak today. Gets map favours and doesn't have to improve much to win this. ALTHOFF (3) relished the drop in grade first-up with a slashing third over 6f at this track. Grima rides again and will take holding out if they overdo it up front. LIVIN' THING (6) bounced off the two good trials first-up when a fast finishing second to Hellbent On You over this trip at Warwick Farm. Only has to hold that form to play a leading role.
