CRISTAL CLEAR (1) lifted strongly to score a game win first-up in the G2 Ajax Stakes at Rosehill. Had genuine excuses when fifteenth over 1m in the G1 Doncaster Mile at this track last time out. Well placed here and sure to figure prominently. DEPTH OF CHARACTER (3) Classy Group 2 winner resuming. Raced without luck time in and expecting big things this prep. Given the two trials and stays in the mix with the claim. ENCAP (6) no Autumn Glow or Sheza Alibi today. Deep into the prep and must be kept safe. HELLSING (10) is due for a change of luck. Outclassed when a fading eleventh in the G1 Doncaster over 1m here last start. Earlier runs had merit and keep safe from the low gate. EL CASTELLO (4) second-up for the new yard and has since been gelded. Since fitted with a 6f trial win and will appreciate the extra ground. Strays in the mix.
