Since fitted with a sharp 4f trial win and should have little trouble running out the 5 ½f from the good draw. COLUMBIA BLUE (2) lightly raced gelding going quickly through the grades. Strong through the line from the outside gate when saluting over 5 ½f at Canterbury. Steps up a level and the 7lbs claim keeps him in the mix. SCAMPI (1) shouldered the 134lbs first-up when a fast finishing second over 5 ½f at Ballarat. In-form apprentice hops aboard and look for him launching late. ICE KOOL (12) created a big impression as fav on debut when a slick 3.5 len winner over 5f at Warwick Farm in a Super Mdn. Hard to have at the price. BENEVAC (10) nest best.
