GENESIS RUNNER (1) drifted back early second up and like the way he closed late returning good figures when fourth in the G3 Ming Dynasty Quality at Rosehill over 7f. Blinkers go on from the good gate and will take stopping over the extra ground. SAVAGRAM (2) engaged in a speed duel early and paid the price late with a tiring seventh over 7f in the G3 Ming Dynasty Quality. Can take control early and expect a much better performance over this trip. WONKA (4) fourth up for this and maps to stalk the speed in a harder contest. Worth thought. YOUR COLOUR (10) improving Maurice filly who bounced back with a determined Maiden victory over 7f at Newcastle. Sharp rise in grade and not to be underestimated at the good odds. HOZUMI (5) well bred gelding who made rapid improvement at his second race start with a strong Maiden victory from back in the field over 7 ¼f at Illawarra Grange. Don't dismiss.

Bobble/Stumble

A slip or a duck from a horse trying to leave the starting gates, often caused by the surface giving way under the feet. This can range from a mild misstep to a stumble down to their knees.

Claiming Race

A race in which horses are entered for a certain price, or claiming tag, which is also their sales price. An owner can claim any horse entered for the tag before the race begins, and owns them as soon as the gates open.
