Verdict

BONOYSTER (9) continues to race well without winning. Handy enough on the turn but found a couple better last start over today's distance at Scone. Enjoys the gun run from the inside alley and this looks his breakthrough race. IMPERIAL STATE (1) has transferred to the Craig Martin stable and is back from a ten-month spell. Won at Gosford early last prep over today's journey. No trials to use as a guide so keep an eye on the betting. CURRUMBIN ALLEY (2) bolted in first-up in a Scone maiden then finished less than three lengths away in a Class 2 over 6 ?f at Muswellbrook. Right in the mix coming back in distance off a seven-week let-up. UNDER THE COLLAR (6) improved out of sight to win his maiden over this distance at Armidale recently. Has only raced three times so there should a fair bit more to offer. OFCOURSEIAM (10) is rarely far away and can sneak into the bottom end of the semaphore board without surprising.
