NORTHERN BOOGIE (7) won a Class 1 over this distance at Muswellbrook two back then flew home to grab third over 5 ½f at Armidale last start. In-form sprinter who gets in beautifully after the claim - should be able to storm home under the light weight. VIERVILLE (1) has been racing okay without threatening in better races than this. Led and didn't give in without a fight over a longer trip at Taree most recently. Has his share of weight but this sets up nicely. GOLDEN VADER (3) won third-up last prep so she is a likely improver after a couple of plain efforts to kick off this campaign. SUNDAY BELL (9) went a little better last start when beaten under four lengths in a BM66 at Scone. Could land a top three prize in this easier race.
