HELLFIGHTER (6) was thereabouts last time out when second at Wagga over 7f with just a nostril in it at the finish. Hasn't been far away this time in work with five minor placings from nine starts and now finds the race that he can convert in. FALSTAFFIAN (2) was well held last time at Wagga in a disappointing performance. Surely does better here. SABATINA (5) will also have to do better. Was always well out of her ground last start when 8 lengths away in tenth over 6 ½f at Narromine but likely improves and this isn't deep. ELLE TEE (7) settled well off the pace last start then made steady ground to finish seventh over 1 m at Moruya. Fitter and look for an improved run here.
