BUDERIM (12) settled handy first-up over this track and trip, missing by 2L in a solid return effort. He's a second-up winner in the past and Fiore reuniting is a big tick for his chances. Looks back in good order and can get back to winning ways with the fresh run under his belt. CANTRIX (9) is a lightly raced mare who has shown good ability early in her career. The inside draw helps her chances and she looks ready to fire first-up with two trials under her belt. TRUE FICTION (1) is racing in good order this campaign, missing by 0.9L last start at this track and trip as the race favourite. That form may have already been franked again today and while he's drawn wide, he does have early speed. Can make an impression again. SWANSEE (14) was too good from the front last start and can repeat the dose today. MISS ALTAIR (7) has to be included on the back of a strong performance last time out.
