PONY UP (2) was racing well over the mile before dropping back in trip last start and finding them too speedy on the Scarpside circuit here. Back out to the mile today is a big tick and Martinan's claim comes in handy. Expecting her to be up front from the outset and will give them something to chase. HARD SOLO (5) got back to her best form with a 1.1L defeat over this trip at Ascot last time out when sitting close to the speed. Expect Faithfull to adopt similar tactics with the long run down the back to begin the race. She'll have plenty of time to work across and give herself every chance. KERVETTE (1) usually improves third-up and looks on song following a 2.3L defeat last start where she closed well from the tail of the field in Saturday grade. Will relish this easier race and Cooper's claim comes in handy. Can sit handy and make her presence felt. FINAL CALL (3) is better than he showed on resumption and can improve.
