BASTION (8) has been in the betting at all four runs to date but only hit her straps last start, leading for much of the way before finding one better over 7 ¼f at Queanbeyan. Drawn to enjoy the perfect run and in a modest affair can go one better. MARY LE BONE (3) has not raced since holding on well for third over 7 ¼f at Queanbeyan back on 12 October. Has had plenty of chances but her form stacks up better than most in this line-up. STREET SKATER (4) did a good job to hang on for third in an unsuitably short 4 ½f scamper at Coonabarabran recently. That was his first run for nine weeks so there is plenty of improvement in store. VASTLY (6) is a Press Statement four-year-old on debut for the Brett Robb stable. Best of three trials was the latest at Dubbo when edged out. Betting holds the key. ROSIE I AM (11) is a chance if she finds the form that saw her finish second over 6f at Bathurst two runs back.
