Verdict

In a plain affair FRANKIE'S SHOUT (3) looks a great chance to return to winning ways. Not disgraced two back in a Country Championship qualifier at Dubbo then made late ground over 6 ½f at Hawkesbury last time. Either of those performances would be good enough to take this out. WALK THE PIER (2) picked up late to grab third when resuming in a Class 2 over 6 ½f at Canberra last time out. Scored a big win at Moruya last prep over a similar trip to this. Strips fitter and poses a genuine threat. OMNIC (1) struggled first-up at Goulburn but he is not a noted fresh performer. Competitive at the provincials last prep so with that run under the belt he can play a key role against this line-up. PROCLIVITY (5) is in the mix coming off a one-month let-up with just 53kgs on his back. Hard to make a case for the other runners, headed HIMEROS (9) on a seven-day back-up.
