SELLICKS BEACH (5) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1.5 lengths adrift in third over 7f at Bathurst. Will drift back but wind up late. Looks to have plenty of upside and shapes as one to consider. PANELLI (4) was well in commission last start over 7f at Forbes when seventh, beaten 4 lengths. Winning rider Clayton Gallagher sticks. Where there's smoke there's fire and expecting a better showing. COLLY BLUE (7) brings the right form to this race after taking out a 5 ½f contest at Forbes last time out by 0.9 lengths. One of the chief contenders. SMART LILY (12) turned in a strong performance first-up when in the money at Tamworth but disappointed last time when sixth, beaten 4.5 lengths, at Scone over 6f. Has her share of ability and will prove hard to beat in this more suitable race.
