INSTEAD (7) sprinted quickly from just off the speed when resuming with a surprise victory over 6 ½f at Bathurst. Clearly returned well and will prove hard to hold out. MRS BULL (2) consistent mare on the quick backup after running fourth over 1m at Wellington. Will appreciate the claim in this weaker race. Each way. KIRK (4) racing in career best form and the blinkers come off and the visors go on. Kept fighting through the line when third over 7f at Wellington. Should have no problem getting the mile. JOSHUA (9) jumped in trip when a plugging fourth over 1 ¹/16m at Cowra. Big drop in weight with the claim and no surprise to see him go close.
