STATE OF GRACE (5) returned from a lengthy break with a slashing second from back in the field over 5 ½f at Gundagai. Will appreciate the claim in this weaker contest. Hard to hold out. MEGAPHONE MISS (7) recent runs had merit and comes here with a distinct fitness edge. Was a month between runs when a game third over 6f at Warren. Will hold a forward position and prove hard to get past. INDI SPRINGS (4) Peltzer filly out of Nosey Tycoon on debut for the Griffith yard. Wasn't pushed out when fifth in a trial over 4 ½f at Wellington. Expected to take a hand in the finish. LAGOON (6) resumes on her home track without a trial. Likely to find this short of her best and will be strong late.
