Verdict

GOOD VIBES (2) drops back in trip slightly today after being caught late over 6f at this track last time out. She'll need her early speed from a sticky barrier, though she boasts a strong record at this track and trip and Riordan knows her well. Can go one better now. LONGTIMEBELIEVER (6) got the job done in a photo finish here 12 days ago when sitting just off the speed. This looks to shape similarly to that effort with Cooper in the saddle from a good draw again. She makes plenty of appeal. DIAMOND LIGHT (7) disappointed fresh when close to the speed at Kalgoorlie but should be better for that effort. Back to an easier race now and she is a second-up winner in the past. Can bounce back in a big way. FIRST LAW (1) is better than he showed last start at Albany and can bounce back as he drops plenty of weight. ADRETT (3) comes here without a trial but does perform well fresh. Can return on a positive note.
