Verdict

THREE GRAND (3) gets the blinkers on for the first time today following a strong run from the front at this track and trip last time out. He was a $3.70 chance there and lost no admirers when finding one better. The apprentice claim also comes in handy and she'll be hard to hold out if she runs to form. FOUR SEAS (7) got the job done over Three Grand last time out and this looks to shape similarly. While winning by 1.1L there, she meets Three Grand worse at the weights now. It wouldn't surprise to see her repeat the dose as that looks a strong form reference for this. MANTA RAY BAY (5) hasn't been far away his past couple and comes through that same race as Three Grand and Four Seas. Tsang rides now claiming 4lbs and he's expected to be in the finish yet again. FAMEUX (1) turned in an improved effort last start and is not to be discounted. GET OUT MICK (2) will be fitter for the latest effort and can feature.
