RACY RASCAL (7) looks the one to beat on debut following a trial win recently at Lark Hill. Faithfull was on board for that effort and she sticks with the gelding today, striking at 20% when she rides for Dan & Ben Pearce. Most of the exposed form looks iffy, so he makes plenty of appeal. LONGTIMEBELIEVER (8) resumes today with a handy trial under her belt at Lark Hill. She was knocking on the door last campaign in similar maidens to this when taking up the running. She'll need some luck from the gate, but if she can run up to her trial performance then she'll be hard to hold out. ABSTRACTED (4) was only 1.8L off the winner at Geraldton last time and now gets the tongue tie applied for the first time. She should be prominent from the draw and she'll be tough to reel in with the 4lbs claim of Nottle. HALF TIME SIREN (2) comes from a strong family and has to be included on debut. MANTA RAY BAY (5) is next best.
