Japan - Kyoto RC - Race 5

NEUERUNG (1) makes the strongest appeal from the inside draw, with Christophe Lemaire booked and a deep family profile through dam Chrono Genesis. The half-sibling Bereshit won on debut over 1 ?m and later placed at G2 and G3 level, which gives this filly a persuasive starting point. SAIMON GRACE (6) is the next major threat, being by Contrail and out of a family with depth through Mia Stella and Lord Respect, while Kohei Matsuyama adds further confidence. GOLDEN PROMISE (7) has a proven black-type family link through Listed winner Canela Fina and comes from the Y Yahagi yard, so he has genuine place-to-win credentials despite the wider draw. DANON CANTABILE (8) has Yuichi Fukunaga's strong debut figures and Mirai Iwata aboard, with the stable-sire combination also reading well for a first starter.
