POD DONNER (12) has been building more quietly, beaten three and a half lengths when fourth to Zakkuzaku here last time, and his two wins and one placing from six track-and-trip attempts keep him firmly in the winning mix. SONIC STEP (11) was plain first-up over 1 ?m at Hanshin Dirt, but he owns a win from his only start at this track and can improve with that run behind him.
