NISHINO RAMPAGE (6) sets the standard among the selected chances after resuming with a third at Kanazawa over 7 ½f, beaten four lengths by Sunrise Rema in 3yo COND grade. He is still a maiden and comes back to 6f, but that latest effort is the most reliable positive reference in this field. TORUK MAKTO (11) is the immediate threat after being sent out a well-supported favourite at Mombetsu last start and finishing fourth, beaten two and a half lengths by Boules De Neige. She has to convert that market confidence now. WILD KAGURA (1) is difficult to assess on recent margins after being beaten out of sight at Sapporo Dirt, yet the class drop and inside draw keep her in the winning mix if she can leave that form behind. NICHIYAO TSUIDE (9) resumes with plain maiden form, but this is a softer C4 assignment and she has place claims if the fresh start brings improvement.
