KUU LEI NANI (11) was successful last start over 7f at Kawasaki, getting home by 1.5 lengths to make it three wins on the bounce. Winning rider Masashige Honda retains the mount. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she has the ability to mix it with them. FIRE WALTZ (7) was last at the races when she finished second over 6f at Funabashi on November 5. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. FERNANDA (4) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 7 ½f at Funabashi. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will give backers a great sight. ADELA PERFUME (8) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing sixth last start over 6f at Funabashi five weeks ago. Should park just off the speed. Sure to be thereabouts.
