GALLOS (5) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a second over 7f at this track when beaten 2 lengths. Hard to beat once again. GRACE CARILLON (9) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a spell, the latest when ninth over 6f at Niigata Dirt after she settled well back. Should be peaking now and looks a clear threat. OSAKI WONDER (6) is back at the races for the first time since September 16. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 6 ½f at Mizusawa. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with three minor placings. Now under the care of new trainer Yoshikazu Kanuma. Among the better hopes. SANONO TARUMAE (7) was last at the races when she finished seventh over 6f at Funabashi on August 28. Can make her presence felt.
