AN PATO (7) did a great job to score by 0.8 lengths over today's course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. SURGE (2) was comfortably accounted for when third last time out over 7 ½f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. That followed a win at Funabashi at the previous outing. Finds a tougher race but a better run will not surprise. T O D'AMOUR (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 1 ¼m at this track after being in contention on the bend. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. REBELLION (8) is a distance specialist who turned things around last start and landed the prize by half a length over 1 ¼m at this track. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
