G T UTAMARO (6) looks the runner with the most upside in this set-up despite plain recent figures. He was second last in a 3yo Maiden over 1m at Chukyo, beaten five lengths, and had been well held over 1 ?m at Hanshin, but the class relief and stronger local stable-rider profile give him a genuine chance to reset. NIKONIKO NICOLE (9) brings the cleanest last-start result, having won at Urawa by two and a half lengths from Eclair Seira, and that positive recent form makes her an obvious danger. TERRENTIUS (5) was beaten two lengths by Egal here and has the best exposed Urawa profile, though his favourite failure two back keeps him from being risk-free. BLACK HONEY (3) improved into third behind Egal and is the next most reliable placing option, but he still has to turn consistency into a win.
