FIRE WHIP (8) turned in a fine effort to score by 6 lengths at today's course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. SOY LATTE (6) met with solid support when resuming last start over 7f at this track when second, beaten 2 lengths. Takayuki Yano who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Fitter and ready to win. PROOFREADER (4) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 7 ½f at this track, beaten 9 lengths. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including four wins. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. BRANDISTOCK (10) has been in good form, scoring three back at Funabashi then placing twice in a row, most recently when third over 7 ½f at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
