KING JAKKAL (1) has attracted market support in each of his 2 recent outings, most recently finishing a close fifth over 7f at Otaki nearly 3 weeks ago. He has needed time to mature, and he may have found the right field here. Stick with him. SCARLETT SPELL (5) was disappointing over 1m at Ellerslie last time out but had been narrowly beaten at the same track prior. Dropping back to a shorter trip will suit her, and from a superior gate, she can bounce straight back into the money. TSUNAMI SUE (7) made an encouraging debut when finishing strongly for third over 5 ½f at New Plymouth. With natural improvement, she should be included in all top 4 combos.
