PROCUL BOY (2) was beaten for the first time on a heavy track when finishing runner-up by a neck fresh up at Hawera nearly 2 weeks ago. He is just as capable on a firmer surface, and with that recent run under his belt, he should be hard to hold out in this. COCOBILL (5) set the pace fresh up at Otaki and was only run down late to finish second by a neck. He is spot-on with his fitness, and with the aid of the pole position, he will take plenty of pegging back again, particularly with a 7lbs claim. CYPRESS (6) hit the line strongly for third at Riccarton 2 weeks ago, and he revels in heavy ground. His next win is not far away. EXIT LEFT (1) has made plenty of progress without being over-taxed with racing. He comes to hand quickly, and has top 3 claims fresh up. MISS ANNA LEE (9) and TESTING (10) are also both capable of figuring in the finish.
