AMIRA D'ARGENTO (4) broke through for a deserved win at New Plymouth a week ago, and she maps to receive the run of the race here. The rise in class will hold no fears for her, and she can repeat the dose. BELARDO BOY (1) has been mixing his form this prep, but this is the right race for him, and as long as the track is heavy, he is capable of winning this. BENEFACTOR (3) sat back and was too strong for the top pick last time out, and even with an extra 4lbs to carry, she can repeat the dose. THE ENTERTAINER (6) needed the run when finishing fourth fresh up at Hawera nearly a fortnight ago. She will be a quick improver in this. MANZOR BLUE (2) resumes from a spell over a trip that is well short of her best, but she still can't be ignored, so keep her safe in the small field.
